CURATORIAL SERVICES
During more than twenty years as curator of textiles at Shelburne Museum in Vermont, I was responsible for over 7,000 quilts, rugs, samplers, needlework, costumes, household linens, and printed textiles. I researched and designed exhibitions, published books and articles, taught classes on textile history, and was responsible for the interpretation and design of textile furnishings in five period houses and a steamboat.
Now at Textiles & Interiors, I specialize in providing these same curatorial services for public and private clients:
Exhibit research, design, and production.
Furnishing plans for historic interiors.
Planning for collection care, display and storage.
Lectures and workshops on textiles and textile history
Repair and mounting of textiles.
